Yes, Pilates is for everyone. We offer an individual or foundation class if it's your first time. The goal is to determine your current level of strength and mobility and then suggest the best option moving forward. 

Pilates is an amazing tool to incorporate into your routine if you are recovering from an injury. Of course, we would need to understand the type of injury and have clearance from your doctor. Our instructors are here to help and will be more than happy to work together with your physiotherapist or biokineticist. 

Comfortable gym clothes with non-slip socks or barefoot. 

A towel, water bottle and your awesome self. 

Ikigai is a boutique reformer studio. What that means is that we have a maximum number of 3 people per class. This allows the instructor to provide individualized attention by queuing correct breathing and focussing on quality of movement. 

We have an online booking system in place. Alternatively, you may contact us directly to book and we will arrange for you to make an electronic payment.

Yes, if you enjoy a particular class and instructor, we recommend that you book in advance. Our classes are small and therefore are booked up quickly. 

No, we do not have a membership fee. We charge per class or package booked. 

The studio requires at least 24 hours' notice should you not be able to attend. If you do give us the relevant notice, you are able to make up that class. 

Our classes are one hour in duration.

We have bathrooms but please come changed in your gym gear, unfortunately we do not have shower facilities.

A class can be booked and cancelled on the "Profile" section of the website, with the required notice as per our cancellation policy. To reschedule a class, please contact us via telephone to reschedule your class. Please ensure sufficient notice is given as per our policies.
